What is that unusual plant? I just GOTTA have one even if it is not native to Texas! I can adjust growing conditions to cater to any plants. :-)

Looks like Calliandra surinamensis - Pink Powder Puff. They are just starting to bloom here also. They are a Fall and Winter blooming shrub or tree.
