At the top of the dell looking east towards the house. The large area of soil had been previously sown with wild flowers. Yew hedge on the left about 8ft tall all the way round cut flower garden

Many thanx for your nice comments...just under 2 acres... looks tidy because all the photos are long distance but believe me there is SO much to do... glad to here about ur weeping ash... i am guessing the one in the bag garden is about 10 yr old, and there is also one in the front about the same size. how far off the ground do you tend to cut it... couple of feet, or lower than that?!?! The willow trees are suffering some what at the top of the garden so we are gonna spray the small one with fungicide and see what happens... such a shame as they been in place for about 7 years !!! But YES... loving the Weeping Ash... deserves to have the lawn named after it...lol

The piece of wasteland has since been turned into a wild flower garden, however at the moment it now needs scythe-ing down. I put up a pic just as soon as i have one !
