Didn't you do well. I see 'Monika' was recognised as a winner. P. allionii 'Stradbrook Florence' too. You must be very pleased to have done this well.
I have a couple of questions about exhibits - why was the iris given a judges note?
The leaves on the Cyclamen which got a first seem to be two different varieties?
I would not have liked being the judge between a corydalis and a narcissus. They look pretty evenly matched to me. Your Ozothamnus coralloides looks to be a sturdy little plant. Well done.
Are those Primulas you bought or were they for sale?

The Iris were both the same variety. The show schedule just says 2 pan alpines, not 2 pan distinct,so it may just have been correcting a label as opposed to Not According to Schedule.
The Primula got a 3rd,but I only took it to make up the numbers,as it's still very small.
I love the Ozothamnus. That's its second 1st after Kent last October.
The Cyclamen may have more than 1 plant if it was grown from seed,or perhaps that's how the leaves develop.I thought it was a bit untidy, but it was the only entry and I think they give the Novices a bit of leeway.
I thought my Narcissus was better, but I don't know too much about Corydalis and how difficult they are from seed.
I bought the Primulas.£3 and£2 off the members sales table. It's a good place to look at these shows and where I origionaly got 'Monika' from.I got 2 plants off the Kent members table. An Iris that I can't wait to flower(I.reichenbachii x I.Sari) and a siver Salvia caespitosa that I've wanted for a while and is the only place I've ever seen it.Not nursery prices either.
Your turn now
All seed sown as well.

Pcw I have to agree that the members sales tables offer really good plants for very low prices. I did wonder about the two pans being the same but it can be hard to tell from a photo.
Bjs I blew up the photos of the P.'Stradbrook Flounce' and still had difficulty making it out. Click on Ctrl and + at the same time to enlarge the pics them reverse it to fit the screen by clicking Ctrl and -. A member of Goy suggested that and I find it very handy. Sorry I got the name wrong but it was nice to see it being placed.

I think after 10,the following year you move up to intermediate.Although you can enter any class above the lowest that you qualify for.

Up to intermediate is a big leap. The quality of plants is excellent.
