Paulderby's Profile

I live in Derby, which is in the centre of England, with my wife of 42 years (Carole) and Floyd the cat. Having travelled extensively in my job I decided to retire early this year, with big plans to grow my own vegatables and fruit and to spend more time bowling and fishing. Unfortunately the weather this year has been so wet that a lot of my veg, mainly grown in containers, has really struggled, apart from the potatoes which gave a bumper crop. I hope to learn from this site and make a plan for next year. Paul.
