Hello everyone ,
hope you are all doing well, and your gardens even better.
I am not able to do my garden at the moment because I am just out of hospital following a hysterectomy operation on tuesday, so very early days for me returned home yesterday.good job we are heading into the winter with our gardens and not the summer or I would be pulling my hair out not being able to garden, but needs must and all that so I`ll just have to put up with it won`t I,hubbys off for a couple of weeks to look after me so that will be nice having him home a lot more!I must say its so good to be home again although the nurses who looked after me were
lovely, very caring and kind…well time to go and just rest I`m sure I will get bored very quickly!bye for now take care…numpty x .

Hope your recovery is speedy, but as you say the right time of year in the garden, so you will be able to keep your feet up and rest. Nice to have hubby home for a while to keep you doing as you have been told. lol REST :O)

Get lots of rest & let your hubby spoil you. I had my gall bladder out last year in spring & got very frustrated not being able to do anything in the garden. It's spring again in NZ & I'm off work with a pinched nerve ... & my garden is full of weeds & I cannot do a thing about it. I hope you have a really speedy recovery.

Glad its over and done with Numpty and that you are back home, it doesn`t matter how nice they are to you its always good to go home, the danger is feeling good and thinking you can do the jobs that are annoying you, so my advice is keep yourself occupied with something that means no lifting or stretching for a few weeks, no excuses for not taking it easy. Take care and enjoy browsing the catalogues, you can plan next years garden...

I was 2 years before I could walk a mile Numpty. There is no speedy recovery, if you had the 5 star op.
A Sister came and stood at the end of my bed and said she had had the same as me, it was 4 years ago, and she had just come back to work.
Joining the Alpine Garden Society would help you. They will send spare seeds at times in the year. Plants can be put out in containers or plastic troughs. There is a lot to learn about composts. They have some old copies of their magazine which members can purchase, very good value £16 for 10 including postage.
Its something to focus on, gardening wise.
Hope this helps.
