Thank you Dwyllis the view is of the Horse Shoe pass just a mile from me, I meant my GOY picture gallery, the picture was taken in 2010 but when I passed today it looked just the same, I didn't explain very well sorry(now amended!) it was a beautiful day here and a fantastic sky this evening :o)

What a glorious area to live, I guess that the horseshoe pass could be a bit bleak in the depths of winter

We haven't been getting lovely sunsets either, just low cloud or fog here

Just wanted to say how much I like the pictures in this blog especially the view over towards the mountains and also that wonderful sunset - Have added this to my favourites as it so reminds me of our Welsh home...
