Happy little cats!

10 comments

Now that some colder weather has arrived in central Texas, our fireplace is getting a workout:

The little boys just love the warm room and stretched out on the couch for a quality nap today. Little Smokey preferred the “upside-down” position while Mystic adopted a more conventional “flop” :

Shortly afterward, Smokey decided to “flop” in the usual cat position:

The two little babies were very curious about the fireplace as I was starting the fire and just loved the heat that it made. They eventually ended up on the carpet “flopped as usual” after they had some supper this evening:

Of course Mystic had to have a paw on brother’s head to make sure he was there! {chuckle}
Adopting these two little brothers was the best thing that we have ever done!
They enrich our lives each and every day with their antics. :-))))

Your two boys are beautiful. I can tell they are well loved. Cats do love fires don't they? Little heat spounges that they are. LOL

Best place to be when its cold, ours cannot get near as Morgan and Brynner hog the fireplace so they spread themselves around the house in front of the radiators, your furry friends look very contented..........

I have a little sign hanging in my lounge it says "for the best seat in the house, you'll have to move the cat" - how true that is!

Great Pics N2 - I think most cats have built in 'heat sensors'. Your boys look extremely content. I would never 'buy' another cat when there are so many needing good homes, and a pair is a great solution too.
