MAJOR Overhaul today!

This Sunday’s project in the backyard was to weed and mulch my “clover-leaf” flowerbed in the back yard. Here is an earlier photo of the area that I built:

The weeds this summer have taken over the area and today I went to war with the weeds! I picked up 6 bags of red mulch and went to work. After about 4 hours, the flowerbed is looking great!

Hopefully the addition of organically grown hardwood mulch will help with the weeds. It will sure help with water retention, if nothing else! {chuckle}
