On the 7th day (actually todays the 30th but never mind) on the 7th day god created Mookins (actually I was born on the 6th but on with the story)

On the 7th day God rested he looked around at all he made…. skip a few pages….. a few years ….and a few more and then…. Mookins created……

MINT SAGE!!

yes I have mint scented sage….does sage broad leaf smell minty?

have I actually created a new cross breed of herb?

I dont want to get all excited… or possibly down hearted?

I cannot think that sage smells minty, does it?

in which case either i have created mint sage or… be prepared for the wail…

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ive messed up my labels…. AGAIN?

We all do it......I have now lost all labels. just have long lists which relate to nothing, used to be so organized before we moved South.

and if you don't do it yourself someone else will. Last fall I planted what I thought was 3 russian sage (according to labels) a couple of days later I was looking closer at the plants and realized there was an odd man out. I have since determined that it is "cat mint" Oh, well! now I'll learn about "cat mint" lol

Yes I'm guilty of it too.
I've bought wrongly labelled plants in a garden centre too. I think people pull them out to read and put them back in the wrong pots.

Huh! You should see my mini greenhouse! I put some pots out to "harden off" only to discover no labels, aaaargh! Now I don't know what half of them are.

Guess what I'll be doing later this year? Yep, posting pics to here, asking "what is this plant......!"

Craftnutter join the club, so glad I am not the only one to do this, keep meaning to buy or make so pretty labels, one of these days..........

Hywel....they actually come from the suppliers with the wrong labels....We got a shipment of clematis in yesterday. The shipment included 5 clematis 'Elsa Spath'. When I was setting up a display of them today I noticed 4 Elsa's were the lovely periwinkle blue colour but the 5th was a deep purple red.....and this from a company that says it "doesn't make mistakes". HA!
