A few photos from our walk today.

The grass borders of the lake were showing many mixed wild flowers (I think sown by the local primary school children)overhung by the trees.
Flag Irises just opening up…the families of geese looking a little older too..
I’ve included a couple of my garden too….the border is full of perennials and I was only moaning a few weeks ago that I couldn’t see them.Must have more patience note to self!

The pink flowering shrub is Indigofera himalayensis ‘Silk road’…deciduous , self clinging with very pretty flowers. I’ve included a close up to show them.

we only got 10 mins of light rain so I was able to get outside and sort out all my plants ready for Victoria to look after the garden when we go away soon.

Looks like it was a lovely walk :) Absolutely love the Forest of Dean, the Art and sculpture trail is a good walk too and I adore Puzzlewood, I’d happily live in Puzzlewood leaves me in awe.

I wish I knew it more, so many beautiful places. We went Puzzlewood last year and I think the art trail was a similar sort of time. I know they’ve filmed a few things there I recognise some scenes from Merlin and Star Wars. I told my friend about it and she’s going to camp near by with her 2 boys and take them there, it will be a lovely memory for them.
