Removal of Water feature.

The water feature we have had for 10 years has really seen its day…each year I would sand it down, primer it and then put on a glossy metal spray….always looked great for awhile but slowly deteriorated over the winter months. The basin part was quite useful for growing sedums, but the time had come to say goodbye.
We called in our electrician to disconnect it from the mains and safety tie off the wires. My husband never takes any chances with home electrical work having had previous encounters!
The last photo shows the water feature.
The corner where it was positioned was just right for the 2 large potted Acers and a smaller pot of variegated Agapanthus.
The table and chairs were moved to a new position .The patio area seems cosier.
Another pre Autumn job done.

Looks lovely M'land, now that's another job out of the way, sit on your cosy patio and enjoy the weather whilst it lasts...

Hi Julia, looks really nice, a job well done! I think you’ve really enhanced the patio area. Your acers and agapanthus look very much at home, very effective combination.
