One garden item I wouldn't be without.

At the end of last summer our original Hozelock reel gave up the ghost after a good 10 years use…. Had to resort to a self wind one in the Autumn but found it increasingly hard on the arms! So decided to bite the bullet and replace with an automatic…. Had certainly risen in price. and the original one was pre assembled. Thankfully OH was eager to help. This one is 30metres and to my delight reaches right to the end of the front garden….. Will be well worth it.
Sorry, the photo wasn’t a good one.

Can it be coupled to a 2nd line? I usually have to connect 2 or 3 together. Can i wash the car?

Yes, Bathgate, as long as you have the Hozelock connector.

Excellent. Anything that makes life easier gets my vote!

I agree what a useful addition to the garden. replacements are always more expensive :o(, that's inflation for you!

Ooh, I should say, Sheila...... Seaburn, something we might have to endure even more.

Looks a good idea. My hose is all over the place and has many kinks in it. It's probably unusable now. I'll have to get something like this I think.

I would like one of these. I find reeling in 50m of hose is exhausting!

We have had one or two of these and find them invaluable.

Before I replaced the old one, I felt exactly the same K at the end of the day manually winding and winding.... They are a good investment.

Well, I have one of those curly ones which is so easy, but unfortunately don't reach as far I would like.

That's a shame, Rose... There seems to be two lengths, 30 and 50 metres.

Hubby bought me one of these last year for my birthday, its an absolute godsend, it reaches everywhere in our garden, when finished I just give a gentle tug and it winds itself back up again.....
