At the end of last summer our original Hozelock reel gave up the ghost after a good 10 years use…. Had to resort to a self wind one in the Autumn but found it increasingly hard on the arms! So decided to bite the bullet and replace with an automatic…. Had certainly risen in price. and the original one was pre assembled. Thankfully OH was eager to help. This one is 30metres and to my delight reaches right to the end of the front garden….. Will be well worth it.

I agree what a useful addition to the garden. replacements are always more expensive :o(, that's inflation for you!

Looks a good idea. My hose is all over the place and has many kinks in it. It's probably unusable now. I'll have to get something like this I think.

Hubby bought me one of these last year for my birthday, its an absolute godsend, it reaches everywhere in our garden, when finished I just give a gentle tug and it winds itself back up again.....

Can it be coupled to a 2nd line? I usually have to connect 2 or 3 together. Can i wash the car?
