I’ve added rather a lot of pictures that i took at Tatton Park Flower Show. I had difficulty choosing which to include in this blog.
I just wanted to point out that all of these pictures (Tatton Park) are of displays there (I have not entered anything at this show).
My first show planned is 26th July at Bishops Castle!

It was a brilliant day out. Glad you liked the photo's.
I don't think i'd stand much of a chance at these bigger shows - When thy're a long way off, i like to take the opportunity to go and not worry about displaying. I can walk round and spot the faults (if there are any) especialy on the big nurseries stands. At this show Blackmore & Langdon (the Begonia specialists) had pale green ferns, probably not been fed enough. Marked leaves, probably caught the sun & some leaves with holes in. There were a lot of blooms just edging (starting to go brown on the edges). Makes me feel better when i can see that the experts are not perfect every time. lol.
I've just come back from setting the plant up at Bishops Castle. I would be surprised if i win there, there looked some rally good plants there. But the fun is in the growing and entering, as long as i don't put up rubbish. Of course all my best plants are timed for The Shrewsbury Flower Show in about 3 weeks.

we display at tatton
it was really nice to see the show from your angle
when you do displays at shows sometimes you forget to see how fantastic everything is because your too tired
I saw all these displays but they just become another display, until now in the cold wind and wet when you can stand back and go wow! I cant wait for the shows to begin again.:)
How lucky are Richard and I that we go to all the RHS shows and are a part of such a wonderful spectical!
Its true that saying you never miss it until its gone!!!
Fantastic photos it all so colourful:)
Thank you for bringing July back in December:))))

Glad you liked the pictures.
I like to visit some of the earlier shows, before i start to show any of my own plants. The biggest show i have entered is The Shrewsbury Flower Show, the others are smaller shows - but all very enjoyable.
These are 2008 pictures, there are more in my pictures here at GOY, and the 2009 pictures from Tatton Park and the other shows i visited, and entered.
