im new to growing veg got ma partner to build me some raised beds any one with some advice for a novice and what best to start with &grow wil be welcome.

Welcome, I started last April, had areally good year only
growing the easy veg, and only got small plastic green house if you can call it that, anyway had agreat time reaping
wot in had sown, so now i would like to get small glass green house, when i'm at work im iching to get home to my garden. Im sure you will really enjoy it,

i'm also new, i watched the series last year on BBC Grow your Own Veg - Carol Klein,http://www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/tv_and_radio/growyourownveg_intheprogramme.shtml
I have since bought the book that accompanied the series...this is now on offer in WHSmiths for a bargain £5...RRP £16.99 which i paid and feel it is worth every penny.
Hope you enjoy gardening, i am.... just wish now i could spend more time at home.
