I have a small patio/yard. I have decided to make it look much more attractive with some plants in pots. Whilst friends say how easy this is I just want to get it right. So! I have bought Piers Japonjica, Myrtus Communis, Escalonia Laevis Gold and Hebe Pinocchio, I want to replant them in larger pots. I know about the right compost but does anybody have any tips please?

They look ok for now. The patio gets about 3 - 4 hours sunshine a day.
