Sweden in the snow.

We are back from our adventures to Ebbarp in Sweden. The first day we did some work in the garden. Barry cut a large split branch from the old apple tree while I cut away dead stocks etc. Day two involved some snow and then each day seemed to involve more snow!!!!!
My photos are of the area around the house and the garden.
We were there to work on the house.
I spent a lot of time painting the upstairs landing while Barry replaced the plumbing in the bathroom.
It is a labour of love!!!!!!!! :o)

Nice to be able to help your son. I enjoy painting the house myself.

I like the last two photos :)

It was just Barry and me this time. The boys are going at Easter and we will go back in May to do the garden and paint the kitchen. John did a talk to his fellow students at the Royal College of Art last week about their intentions to turn it into an artist's residency for post graduate students.
The barn will be the workshops. They will take a van with equipment at Easter.
We just love being there.

So I can step out my back door and feel like I'm in Ebbarp, Sweden? Wonderful! Maybe I'll head over to Ikea for Swedish Meatballs. Very homey looking Linda. Looks like a wonderful trip!

Looks very peaceful there, far from the madding crowds.

It all looks so serene and silent and snowy!!
I love the house, it looks very cosy and welcoming.
You obviously really enjoy your time there, I think I would too but I am not very good at decorating!

It can be a real nuisance, I know, but snow has a magical quality.

I almost expected Wallander to appear in one of your images!!

This house & the surrounding do have a sort of magical feel to them! Such lovely shots of the house & car & land & forest covered with a deep, crisp layer of snow! Glad though I'm sitting here in my nice warm living room & not having to face the prospect of having to go out in that snow!
