New Growth

As we are having some lovely days this week and I`m feeling a bit healthier now ( flu bug has left me with a chest infection but I figured fresh air is good for me) I`ve been out in the garden for a bit of a tidy up…….
Of course I had company just to make sure I was going to provide a snack..

I did get one side tidied up in front of the greenhouse…

Pleased to see new shoots emerging My Pink Bleeding Heart..

White Bleeding Heart, very pleased to see this one as it was new last year..

Delphiniums popping up..

Very chuffed to see both Day Lilies which came from Bumblebee last autumn………

The patio wall beds took a battering through the winter from Brynner but all is not completely lost…

Then a check in the greenhouse.. Sweet Peas doing well….

Lupins coming up,

Goodness knows where they`ll all end up but I s`pose I can offload around the family, lol……. Great to see some flowers, isn`t it……

Plus hubby went to the tip so I can get into my shed again..Yippee !!!!!!! I nearly forgot to show my handy fork.

Its really useful and very easy on ones back..Lol…

That's a handy hand fork, did you make it yourself? I can empathize with you about the Doves, they stare/wink at you until you put food down.

You really have been busy, my garden needs a good forking over and usually I`d have done it by now. My white Bleeding Heart hasn`t come up this year, another Winter casualty I`m afraid. :o(

Heron I bought my fork from a tool man on our local market about 5yrs back and my friendly doves stayed until I actually went into the greenhouse..
Joanella I have a lady spade thats not too bad , bought from garden centre, only half the width of a normal spade....,.
Ian I spent an afternoon making my pots when we had that white stuff outside, my brain went to sleep and my hands turned a very dirty grey....
Thanks Hywel, my flipping flu jab didn`t work this year, plus I never took enough cod liver oil.......
