Cafe seems to be closed !!!!!!!!!

My local pigeons are doing the same. I have one (we call Fatboy!) who has learnt to stand on the tray and reach into the seed hanger - very cheeky - wait the sun has just come out donw here!

Might just call back again today now weather s looking better ...perhaps bring a few friends with me too ?

I can't post the pics of 'my pigeons' as they chose my lawn to do what comes naturally yesterday ! Very, very funny seeing the male showing off and the female walking away from him, having some food and THEN receiving him ! LOL

I have gained next doors pigeons as he has made her take the bird table down.The pigeons are a bit bewildered as she has fed them for a few years now.

im the same mavis, ive taken my station down cause at least 20 or more pigeons and trampling all my plants and the poop is everywhere, so hubby said best take it down, i didnt have to but seemed the only way, i have hung one feeder on old tree stump for smal birds and some pigeons hanging around but only about 4, i love feeding the birds but cant think of what to do ;o((

As next door have decided to plant out their garden this year all animals are not welcome.Would you not be able to put your bird feeder somewhere out of the way? As my garden has a wild area the mess the birds make is not much of a hassle, but I know it can be a bother.

im thinking about where to put it mavis, my garden is so open and no spare corner without flowers, i thought about near the shed so the small birds could fly to it but the pigeons couldnt get to it, just waiting for baz to clear there as it needs a couple of flag stones laying to finish the pathway properly, but at least i have one feeder up and keep popping some mealworms down on ground for the robin away from pigeons, think your neighbours are being a bit to fussy dont you, i love the wildlife it makes a garden special ;o))

My neighbours are being a pain in the - - - -,as the whole garden has been dug over and some very nice but expensive plants put in, now the cats think it a very convenient toilet.It is hard Sanbaz trying to find somewhere to put a feeder and you have such a lovely garden and the birds can be so destructive.Like you I love the wildlife in my garden.

i hate casper pooping in garden but at the end of the day its a natural thing, even if they dont have cats will be impossible to stop any doing it, its part a parcel of gardening, wildlife and poop lol

I only see sparrows here lol, and some jack daws that come for bread a neighbour puts for them.
