Home for lunch…put a beef patty on the stove heat on low…checked a couple of blogs on GOY. Stopped turned over the patty and stepped outside to do a quick inventory of plants and which ones are coming up etc. came close to the house and heard the phone ring. Stepped inside and the beef patty is SMOKING! turned off the heat…answered the phone…Its my husband telling me he’ll be home soon (been out of town for work the past 3 days) He asked me what I was doing LOL….burning my lunch was my reply. Beef patty tossed hotdogs pulled out. The stressful life of a gardener LOL
stargazer lilly’s are peaking through, purple cone flower is up, I think I’m seeing some sprouts on my butterfly bush will check again later to verify. Choral bells have survived the transplant and looking really good. I think one of my roots were dug up by a critter but it is only 1 loss so far. Strawberries are looking good. Will take pictures when there is more plant than dirt on all items.
Gotta head back to work…wouldn’t want to be late!!!

Never mind the beef patties. You've got your priorities right, I reckon. The garden's looking good and that's all that counts isn't it? Amusing blog!

I burnt the daughter's breakfast this morning as i went to the greenhouse and decided to prick out some seedlings.
covered the sausages in tomato sauce and i dont think she noticed. she never mentioned it lol.
