A tree topper that is no Angel

Hi Everybody, I thought this photo of kitten Rosie might cheer you all up on a cold December day.

Both kittens Rosie and Honey have one mission in life and that is to remove every baubel off the tree.
Prior to Rosie sitting on top of the tree and knocking the star off, Honey had ran along the back of the sofa and leaped as high as she could all fours spread out into the tree – it was sooooo funny I wish I had it on video.

I don’t have many photos at the moment as I managed to drop my expensive camera into a cup of tea :-((((((, perhaps Santa will hear my sorrow ;-).

Since my last blog my Father- in- Law has passed away, we’ve had the funeral and all family have all gone back home – a very sad end to 2011. In the end, when he finally went to sleep it was a huge relief as he was really suffering -bless, we’ll miss him.

Anyway I hope I find you all well and that my photo cheered anybody up who was feeling the winter blues.

HI joanella - How did I drop my camera into my brew? very easily actually, I was trying to get some nice shots of the kittens playing, I had put my brew down and plop I dropped my camera -its not worked since. I've just got to down load my memory card.

Thanks Shirley - if the kittens didn't attack the tree I think there would be something wrong with them. I'm sure I'm going to have lots fun kitten moments in the garden next spring.

Hi Kay ..
Sad to read about your father-in-law... very upsetting when anyone is suffering ... RIP....

That's a cute pic of the kitten ... I hope Santa brings you everything you're hoping for, and that you have a good Christmas.

It must have been hilarious to see the cats playing with the tree lol :o) I would have loved to see them.

I can understand the huge relief you feel after your father in law died. It's a strain and very distressing to watch someone suffering. But I'm sorry to hear of your berievemant.

I hope you will have as nice a time as possible this year :o) x

Thankyou for all your kind words, we are determined to have a family Christmas.

Kay, I have to introduce you to a little film clip on one of my all-time favourite websites -

http://www.simonscat.com/Films/Santa-Claws/

I think your kitten may already know about it! Have a joyful and peaceful Christmas.

15 Dec, 2011

Oh Kay, that is sad news, I find a lot of Goy friends have lost loved ones at Christmas, the first one is the always most difficult. I'll be thinking of you.
Lol! That kitten is definitely NO angel! But aren't they just priceless? Our big kitties love to just sit quietly under the(artificial!)tree, and chew the bottom branches, like two little cows, the scrunchy noises are terrifying! I keep expecting to see one of the cats go woof!

16 Dec, 2011

Thanks Gattina - I enjoyed that link.
Libet - how strange the kittens and the Golly the older cat like to chew the artificial tree - they're not supposed to drop needles but they do in my house, it'll be bald within a few years. Anybody else got christmas tree chewing cats?

16 Dec, 2011

No ... just Megan knocking the lower decorations off the tree with her paw ... very funny this morning at 7am when she was covered in gold lametta tinsel ... picture one daft cat shaking it's head trying to get the stuff off ... best part of my day! ... Oh yes, there was a 'Simon's Cat' book right by the supermarket checkout today ... almost bought it but resisted temptation ... :o)

16 Dec, 2011

The Book wouldn't be nearly as good, Shirley - you wouldn't get those funny little pussycat noises.....

16 Dec, 2011

Yes, point well made, Gattina! ... :o)
