Final visit today as patient transferred to hospital treatment.
I was so very touched by the kindness of this patient and their parents. The angel ornament was a thank you from my patient. The little meow heart was from the parents.
The written messages in both cards was so very thoughtful and heartwarming. I’m just happy I could help and support over recent times. It’s very much appreciated.

that is wonderful Kate. It is real nice when all your efforts are rewarded by grateful patients. So often we go through our daily routines with out realising how much we affect the lives of others.

Thank you very kindly, Julia, I'm pleased you have felt supported, it is comforting to know.
Yes, I'm been so very fortunate to have received flowers in the past. I just wish I had a magic wand at times x

Bless, thank you, Eileen. It's so lovely and it really does make you feel very happy that what you're doing day to day is really helping people out there. It gives you a sense of reassurance in yourself too. Every little bit helps. x

They must really appreciate what you have been able to do for them and it was such a lovely thing to do. They must be very fond of you.
Enjoy everything you have been given - so well deserved I am certain of that.

When we're at our most vulnerable that's when we need someone kind, competent and reassuring. Acknowledging that person shows empathy on both sides. Special gifts and cards.

Thats really lovely Kate, I bet you deserve the gifts and lovely messages, you come across as a very caring person in your blogs, I agree with Anget, empathy shows a lot in what you say and that means a lot to people, even more so to the ones you care for in your daily life..x

Thank you Chris, that’s so kind. I’ve been quite involved in this patients care for a year and they really have had a traumatic time. We’ve bonded well, and I shall miss them. A lovely person, I just hope they will be transplanted in the near future..x

Thank you, Ange. I think you’re spot on there, we all need someone to be ‘on our side’ and looking out for us, especially in times of need and often when we are at our lowest ebb. Thank you and I appreciate your message x

Bless, thanks Amy. Your message is very touching. I just feel I want to be able to support and help people in every way I possibly can. It’s such a rewarding job for me, I do love what I do.
Although you’ve had positive care, Amy, you still need to feedback to the appropriate people about the poor treatment and support you’ve received also..otherwise, we never learn. X
