I'm a plantaholic with a third of an acre garden which is split into different areas. I have a courtyard with raised deck which houses most of my containers and pots, a 'cottage' style area, a shady woodland area, a vegetable plot and an orchard. I grow the flowers and my husband looks after the vegetables!

I have a passion for plants, especially unusual or rare varieties. In the coming year I am planning to design a new area in a plot which used to be home to two disused railway carriages. This is likely to contain a wildlife pond and have a gothic theme!
