just thought id show you some pics of produce we had off the plots the last couple of months…
radish,spring onions, chinese cabbage.. all done well the white ones are a ball type of radish with a stronger taste though none of them lasted well and were soft after a few days..

a tomato box OH has been making..

the cabbage did great too..

as you can see ..

peas,strawbs,lettuce i have frozen some peas…

i have also frozen some courgetts… which are still flourishing..

sweetcorn ..still growing..should get a few off these, we also have some on our other plot but not as tall as this

..
tomato, tigrella it has yellow stripes when ripe..

green beans coming thick and fast..

pumpkin ..i am growing a few at home too, first time i have grown them & hope to get 4 decent sizes for my grandchildren for halloween fingers crossed..

carrots not ready yet, these are multi coloured so cant wait to see how they turn out..

potatoes Arrran Pilot from wilcos..

these 2 were 1lb (in old money) each..and not bad as the sunday roasties..

tomato box done now just got grow bags inside it for now..well i hope i have not bored you too much with my blog,.

aghh …shoo..scram ..get off my veggies..

thanks TL,yes i am pleased we have had quite a lot this year , after a bad season last year when everything growing got eaten ..but not by us lol

Bumper crops all round ... the Peas would be eaten as I picked them ... looking forward to seeing the colour of the Carrots ... Sweetcorn looks lovely too. Pat yourselves on the back for your hard work ! : o ))))

hi trees, maybe you could give me a tip for the slugs with the boiled garlic lol..

What a great crop you have and your raised beds are so neat and tidy too, well done! I`ve not heard of rainbow carrots before, hope we get to see them when you pull them up. :o)

Lisa,as i have never grown them before i have done both as i believe you can..
thanks Cristina,we have 2 plots (i know greedy) one for 18 month & other for 8 month ..you cant beat the fresh taste as you will know with yours..

oops crossed over there Lincs,it is its good to take stuff home unlike last year when it all went in the compost bin all chewed to bits lol..

Joanella you should be proud of yourselves. Fantastic crops and what a lot of work you have put into it. Everywhere looks so organised and neat. You deserve a good harvest. Esther Ranzen would have liked your potato!
