Just reminded me Hywel, because of your lookalike Avatar to our garden occupying moggie. He or she has just begged at the back door to be let in. Trotted through the kitchen and out through the front door to be fed at Brook lodge next door! I think this is because increasing age has stopped Spooky jumping up a 7 foot wall. So Spooks has been going up a shorter fence, along a wall. Onto the roof and over a canopy and through foliage and through some shrubbery, along another wall. Down onto the ground. Obviously if Spooks can stroll through the house, he is onto a winner!! Love your blogs by the way. I have a photo of Spooks sitting on the arm of a garden seat in 2009.

Wow, what a way round he's figured out ! lol ... but cats will get to their food any way they can :o)

Thank you, Hywel and all of you for your kind words. I was unable to read them at the height or depths of our nightmare but it is good to find your comments now, as we begin to emerge from it all - hopefully.

Welcome back Tuesdaybear. I can sympathise with your nightmare situation because we seem to have been reeling from one crisis to another for the last few years. Thank goodness the gardens are there to keep us all sane. Happy gardening from now on.
