Just beginning to work on a small, neglected garden on a noisy main road. Plenty of ideas, but have to undertake the practicalities first, such as levelling and digging out slabs of concrete and assorted rubbish! Full sun in the morning, and deep shade in the afternoon, dry in summer and heavy and claggy in spring and autumn. This will be an interesting journey!
