My husband and I have both retired and would love a large garden with a vegetable plot. Instead we have quite a 'bitty' garden. We are on a corner plot and the front is bordered by a berberis. There is a rockery where my husband decided to put 2 peonies (he loves them and thought they would look nice there!!!!) I have finally convinced him that we should start again from scratch (something I have wanted to do since we moved here in 1994). The rest is lawn apart from a rowen. Not much in the small rear garden apart from a 'bird patio' which hubby has just made me (a small area underneath a buddleia where the grass doesn't grow) and a few shrubs. Hoping that I can add to my very limited knowledge of gardening!
