ANDREW'S GARDEN

I had such a lovely day. Took the train to Bracknell and then walked the short distance to Andrew’s garden, and what a wonderful garden it is.
As it was such a beautiful day there were lots of visitors and plenty for us all to see. I was very lucky to meet up with a couple who recognised pretty well all the plants, trees and shrubs and were happy to share their knowledge with me.
I did take some pics but as you know photography and me are not a match made in heaven. Hope some are ok (one or two a bit wobbly), but none do justice to the real thing.
Went on to Andrew’s friend Gill’s garden next where I had the most wonderful coffee cake, (she has a lovely garden too), then back on the train.
Great day out – and Sophie didn’t miss me at all.

I went too, unfortunately Ginellie and I missed each other. The weather was beautiful and all the rain doesn't seem to have harmed Andrew's beautifully laid out garden and the pond looked great to me even though it did have a leak. Andrew has some very unusual plants. I missed out on the cake though! All the tables were full so I went home for a cuppa instead!
