JUST ABOUT TO LOG OFF

Because the dinner is ready – well almost. Chicken cooked, vegetables nearly done, all looking good. Something missing though – what about the roast potatoes? Oh dear, still very white and raw in a pan of cold water.
How many times have I seen other members’ comments about burning the dinner because of getting involved in GoY. Oh well, I didn’t burn it, just forgot part of it!

It is very easy to get engrossed in GoY.

You are right, easy to get engrossed and time does fly. I did enjoy the bits I remembered to cook and think how good it was for me not to have any potatoes.

I once cooked dinner and loaded the steamer with veg, turned the timer on but forgot about the switch on the wall!

Yes, an hour on GOY goes very quickly. Easy to forget how long you've been logged on! At least today's 'spuds' are already peeled as Linclass pointed out!
