Nearly finished...

I have nearly finished my main jobs now: borders have had a haircut and been re-mulched, plants added and moved, second raised bed planted up, side path is done (25 bags of slate put down), weeds removed and lawn spiked ready for winter.
Whilst I was tidying the borders, I had a quick look at what was still flowering and was very suprised!
Up to now I have the following plants with flowers on:

Geranium nepalense
Geranium procurrens (I use one of the pants as a climber; it climbs through my firethorn bush!)
Geranium Himalayense
3 Crocosmias (two yellow shades and one orange/red)
Pelargonium sidoides
Pelargonium australe
Pelargonium dicondrifolium
Pelargonium x panduriforme (any day now)
Pelargonium triffidum
Dianthus hybrid (on raised bed)
Polygonum ‘donald lowndes’
Alstroemeria ‘Inca tropic’
Tricyrtis
Schizostylis: red and pink flowers
Hedychium sp.
Anemone x hybrida white flowers

Not bad going for the time of year.

I will be starting on the trellis next week.

Now that I can use the camera again, I will be hoping to get some photos of the flowers. I think there would have been more flowering if the winter had been a little milder, but there is always next year!

I'm amazed at the amount of buds and flowers in my garden this year everything is topsy turvy even though we did not get much if an indian summer up here. Poppies are re flowering and clematis have lots of buds whether or not they will open is an other matter, I live in hope.
