Tigridia pavonia

By Siris

Tigridia pavonia (Tigridia pavonia (Tiger flower))

A red Tiger Peacock Flower, quoted as half hardy, it has been in the garden several years including a bit of snow. Originally from seed, there seems to be only red, no yellow forms now.

Siris, have just posted a yellow...... missed the orange and the pink, was too late to take a photograph...
I am missing my usual white ones, in fact most of ours seem to be missing this year...the orange and the pink were new ones!!

Have seen your yellow one already, never seen a white one! I usually take seeds each year as an insurance policy, but as they are from reds, they seem to be true to colour.

Siris I think the white is quite lovely.......I have many photos taken of it on here......HB good luck with the seeds.
