Beware the Acanthus is a nightmare to get out, we tried and now it is growing all over the place, it goes down for miles!! never tried growing Smilacina....

I know all about Acanthus! Smilacina, same woodland conditions as polygonatum, although flowers a little later. Will post when flowering. Follows with a few browny/red berries.
