they look great

An old freezer tray ( top pic) was the temporary home, the next 2 just after potting up and the right, on the shelf in the small pond. Noticed at this time of year the bungalow shades out the sun mid afternoon on the small pond, but the top pond keeps the sun on the shelf all day, but that has been topped up with tap water.

Didn't know you could grow these outdoors!

Some are hardy. I saw them originally growing in a bog garden in the Loire valley, was so impressed, researched them on Hants Carnivorous plants, and a Gou member has given me so much advice.

Good luck, they look healthy.....

I've had three in my pond for four years now. Totally hardy if you get the right ones.

Brilliant Andrew, I thought I saw some when I visited your Open Day. Your pond was very large, do you have to top it up occasionally with tap water?

Siris - yes I do although I try not to do it too often. I think evaporation is more of a problem in smaller ponds though.

Andrew, I had thought of evaporation but as I have 4 rain collection butts, I can top up the small pond with rain water, but not the top pond which is bigger and have discovered the shelf in that keeps the sun much longer during the day at this time of year.
