Paeonia 'Alexander Fleming'

AndrewR

By Andrewr

Paeonia 'Alexander Fleming' (Paeonia 'Dr Alexander Fleming')

Originally planted in late 1998, this was moved last autumn but it is flowering again this year. I think the trick to successfully moving them is to do it immediately after leaf fall, not to plant too deeply (the growth buds should be just above the surface of the soil) and to give a good feed in spring just as growth is starting

I left my Paeony when I moved because I didn't think it would survive the upheval. I wish I'd tried it now.
