I admired the Melica in a Devon garden a few years ago (Wildside), and the wonderful owner, Keith Wiley, dug some up for me! So I treasure it . . .

I can see why you treasure it Sheila. I grew mine from seed, although I just hope it doesn't seed itself in the lawn.

My favourite grass ,it self seeds prolificly here ,in fact thought I'd try a seedling in the wood near the steps and its doing great!
