It is pretty. I was just admiring my Stipa Gigantea as I came in from the shops. It has loads of flowers on and they are getting taller now. I'm hopeful it might make 5' this year. I think you have one, but if not, you would love it!

oh Yes Karen one in front and the back - a superb grass!!

8 Jun, 2012

I saw it at Chelsea a few years back and was bowled over. Took me until last year to find space for one in the gravel. it's great there and right beside the front door, so when it gets taller I will brush against it as I go past!

Mine will not grow to its fullest size but hopefully do okay :)) will be great outside front door for you !!!

Why not Paul? If yours doesn't then mine has no chance. Still, I live in hope!

I'm gonna have to change my avatar...I keep thinking...."I never wrote that"...and then I realise its you!

Won't grow to its fullest because I crammed then all in - I just hope grasses can survive just as well huddled together , love to see all the different colours and styles blowing in the wind, think it keeps them stronger too :))) Lovely Avatar - very very sweet !!!

Yes, it was one of her better moments. Unlike today when she found the young blackbird in the garden. The one we have been watching for weeks as it's parents lovingly fed and nurtured it in our plants and gradually brought out on to the lawn to teach it to feed itself. She found it and chased it, and it flew into our window and tumbled down our water feature and I was screaming at her to "Leave it" which she didn't but chased it over to the other side of the garden and I'm trying to grab her and she's trying to grab the bird and oh, what a disaster. The bird flew away but I fear it may perish from the stress of it all. Sooooo Annoying!!

hopeful thought :D My neighbour's dogs are the best - he cannot train them at all - it's hilarious

10 Jun, 2012

When he does his lawn the dogs bark - he's shouting NO, NO and then the cat wails - oh so so funny

10 Jun, 2012

lol.....yes, that would be funny. I bet the neighbours were killing themselves laughing at me chasing her around yesterday!
