Orange Mint Moth

DiOhio

By Diohio

Orange Mint Moth (Eupatorium coelestinum)

Today I found an Orange Mint moth nectaring on the Mistflower. These very tiny moths use mint for a host plant. I have a patch of Narrowleaf Mountain Mint right next to the Mistflower in the back yard.
