Commelina tuberosa (Commelina tuberosa)

This is about two thirds of the size that it was before the wind snapped a chunk of it.

Still looking good, and I like the colour combination with the Salvia.

Salvia 'Amistad' and Impatiens balsamina Siris.

It is one of the best blues in the garden Amy.

It's reliable! This one is about three years old now.

Ahh but is it going to be reliable near the sea Meanie?

Yes - it's a darned site warmer there than it is here over the winter.
The biggest issue may be the winds taking the mature stems out as once mature they hit about a metre in height.
