Pond plant flowers. Marsh marigold.

Pond plant flowers. Marsh marigold. (Caltha Palustris 'Flore Pleno')

This has been a really well behaved plant in all the years I've had it in the corner of the pond. It's about 18" across.

I love these plants. Haven't seen any in flower round here yet, (Surrey). There's masses growing wild along the River Wey near Guildford. Will be watching out for them coming into bloom.

I went yesterday for fish food- came back with a new waterlily, new marginal plants and a floating plant island to plant them in. I did manage to not buy anymore fish though!!

I think it's impossible to go there and not! And of course before purchase, a few minutes looking at the fish in the big pond!!

See who else is growing Caltha Palustris 'Flore Pleno'.

See who else has plants in genus Caltha.
