More wet leaves in the Rain (Actinidia kolomikta (Actinidia))

Leaves of Actinidia kolomilta, a member of the Kiwi family. Can't have beautiful leaves and beautiful flowers, they are tiny, right hand bottom corner. On the back fence.

Love this, who need flowers with leaves like that!!

The leaves were so white initially this spring, the photo was flared out, but now the pink ends are developing. Fills 1 & 1/2 fence panels, with a purple leaved Cotinus, which I think looks great.

Ooo yes bet that's a lovely combination :-)

Would be, except the magenta flowers of Geranium Ann Folkard scrambling through it clash horribly with the pink.

That puts ours to shame, all the punk parts are being eaten on ours and I think it needs more shelter from the cold winds?

I need some advice on pruning, as all the extension shoots are at the top of the 6ft fence, or what to plant to cover its bare bottom!

Not pruned ours as yet, too fragile...

I think you need to keep 'pinching out' whilst it's still young, because my 4 -5 stems are now really woody to 4-5 ft with all the new growth on the top.
So, what to do about the woody ones? Cut out one per season?
