It's several inches thick.
Right now there is solid ice, with a little melt on top to make it slippery, and water running underneath like a river!

The little dog is Scrunchion, my youngest daughter. She loved the ice~I guess it's easier to stand when you have 4 legs!
Arlene, seems as if I can only find those things in the middle of summer....
Need to tape them to the shovel next time I see them!

Wow thats some ice, not my favourite thing,all that slipping and sliding, think I would stay indoors until it Thaws!
