Middle Border

Middle Border

I think any colour goes in the garden and this is just to prove it, well for me it is good I know some like more subtle colour blends but this all works for me and especially in this big border down the middle of my garden. Hope you like it too.

I love it Olive, my kind of gardening too.

The rose is Leaping Salmon, but I do wonder about it, it is rather pink, I do like it but thought when I bought it it would be a peachier pink than it is. Glad you like the garden Cinderella.

Its lovely, I used to have Leaping Salmon, and I am sure mine was more peachy than this one, but as you say, it is lovely anyway.

Well, now that is stunning....however, I don't think it would be half as nice with orange in it!! lol!

No it wouldn't when I bought this rose I put it somewhere else and was disappointed it didn't do well, had to move it, but it is in the right place now, it is full of flowers. I still love peaches and oranges and yellows best though. Really looking forward to the climbers getting hold and showing off their colours. Isn't it strange, things get moved without a lot of thought and they just seem to fit in. Well they are doing for me at the moment. A plonker I confess to being.

Nope, I think it is sub-concious plant planning! You do it on a 'higher plane'!

You might be right there.

Beautiful, I think the deep pink rose compliments the other deep colours. Well done you, as this mixed planting is harder and takes longer to achieve then it looks.

No problems - you have been so very very busy in your garden, it is nice to catch up though. I had a lot to do with the catching up after I had been looking after Sarah's house for her. Sometimes it is impossible to see everything, especially when so many friends are publishing pictures and writing blogs. I just go with the flow. :0))))))

lol..

This is simply stunning! I tend to go more with lilacs, whites, pinks & purples, but I love a splash of bolder colour in red & I do love the lemony tones mixed in. And some wonderful green foliage in there to blend it all together. I'm not a great fan of orange & strong yellow, but I have a feeling you could plant those colours up in a way which would make me change my mind.
