One part of the pond was iced over so the ducks were all huddled up the other end. I don't blame them!

Too risky!! The pond is very deep - it even has a life-bouy at the side with warnings. I remember walking across a pond on Mitcham Common near where I lived as a child. Makes me shiver just thinking of the risks we took then and I'm a lot heavier now! :)

Walking on lakes and ponds is a common thing here Gee. There are even some crazy people who like to go and sit out on the middle of the frozen lake with their fishing rods, beside a hole they have cut through the ice. They call it ice fishing.........I call it daft!! :o)
