Known as Gardeners' Garters, this is a spreading grass for moist soil in sun or part shade. I grow it in a pot in the pond where it needs splitting every three years

mine is beside my pond...guess I should pot up a bit ...fishies might enjoy the roots and keep it in check that way...mine doesn't seem to mind full sun.

I've got some of that in pots in my garden, just started to do a wild pond in a stone square that was left by previus owners, its only about the size of them old pot sinks, i woundered what i could put in it,so i'll split some & put it in my pond,in pots so it does'nt spread.
