Have changed the title and tags on this now....thanks for the info Andrew and Hywel!
As I have said on the other picture of this, I was told this was an Alpine Geranium, although I did think the flower was a little odd for that! But nicely odd!

Gee ~ Although not what I thought it was, it is lovely . Need to have a go at moving it as all of a sudden it is getting quite a big clump in a narrow trough!

I'm a big fan of Astrantias PG, when you get in close, those flowers are really something aren't they ? An old country name for them is Hatties Pincushion :-)
