New variegated aubrieta.

New variegated aubrieta.

I found this at B&Q - I just liked the lime and green colour of the leaves.

Yes Spritz, I like it too. It's different.

Why, oh why did I only get one? I bet there won't be any left next week. :-(

Not now you advertised them Spritz - lovely .

Ah, but which B&Q was it? I haven't told you that - and I won't!

Now, now - break it up children - and no sulking.

OK. :-( Feel suitably chastised!

:-( :-( Sob, sob.

There, there, Spritz - that dotty is just being spiteful - you'll find your own plant, never fear - and hers might die!

Oh, I do hope not - she will blame me! I am going back to B&Q next week to see if they do have any more! Fingers crossed.

Thanks Wagger....if it does I shall hold you responsible!!!

Sorrieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Ah - B & Q ...! Did you buy it as a plant then? Do you think one could gather the seed and propagate?

13 Apr, 2009

I am sorry - I haven't a clue! I do know that they do seed themselves, though - two of them on a wall have little plants underneath!

Yes, this one came from B&Q.

Aw theres me happy to share and you wanting to keep this all to yourself - so you got no room for all the weeds I could send you ?

Celandine , bramble , dock ,chickweed , marestail , dandelion, ground elder , sycamore seedlings sure I could find some ragwort and creeping buttercup - happily share all these with you , yet you keep rejecting me ..sob.

Right - I already have celandines, dock (sometimes), brambles, dandelions (all over the 'lawns'), but we could swap my favourite weeds if you like?

You can take your pick from: hairy bittercress, bindweed (small ones with pink flowers and the normal BIG one) clover, (two kinds) wild hop, tall buttercups, teasel, thistles, cow parsley, willowherb, herb robert, speedwell and a real devil - called 'winter heliotrope', such a pretty name for a proper thug that has roots to Australia!

Which ones would you like, BB? I wouldn't dream of rejecting your kind offer!
