WOW what superb comments for me tonite thankyou all very much indeed i really have found a friendly site
well its a brill nite here not a breath of wind and very warm just rite for the plants to grow, have just caught sum slimy varmints heading for the dhalia`s and lupin seedlings but they aint gonna get em lol i have a couple of resident frogs that like them

Slugs are the major pest in my garden. I've just installed a pond and am hoping the 2 wee tadpoles in there will survive to enjoy the slugs :)
It's a great site, generally friendly and full of useful tips and advice.
