Swiss Chard - Bright Lights
outdoors thinly 1in (2cm) deep in rows. keep soil moist. allow 30cm (12in) between rows. Thin to 6in (15cm) apart water well in dry spells
Harvest August - sept in favourable conditions it may overwinter to provide a second crop.
Aug 2008 still growing well, found a recipe to use in a quiche which went down well at jakes party.
Leaves bigger now and a bit holey in places. Will grow again.
