Lavender
Genus: Lavandula.
Species: Lavandula vera.
I bought the original plant in a 9cm pot for just 90p last year, and originally had it planted up in a vintage watering can. It did very well so now it's in the front garden. I took several cuttings but unfortunately most of them were killed off over the winter in my little cold frame, but I had brought one indoors as insurance against the freezing weather - and it's doing great too! I'm so pleased - I love lavender, it smells great and is brilliant for wildlife.
