Hellebore Argutifolius (Corsican Hellebore)

Species: Hellebore argutifolius.

Love this hellebore almost like a shrub, evergreen with spiny stiff leaves, flowers feb-april, mine must be around 3ft tall by 4ft spread, seeds around profusely, unlike other hellebores this one prefers a sunnier spot, have tried a couple in wood but didn't do well.
Border at top of hill.
Given to me by a friend.
