I don’t want people to think that I’m getting too “right-on” with environmental issues, but this one is important (well, they all are, really!)
“Overfishing is killing our seas, but in just 4 days, a crucial EU vote could stop the devastation. The outcome is on a knife edge, and a key UK MEP could mean the difference between life or death for our seas – so it’s up to us to get him off the fence!”

What is it about, Fran? My computer doesn´t want allow me to allocate to that webpage/link. Proably it reads it as unsecure page. Otherwise, I am always for getting stupid people in power off the fence, lol.

There's an EI vote in a few days, Kat, about changing the fisihing limits to something better than the ones we have. There are a couple of MEP's on the fence, this petition is hoped to get them off he fence and on the right side of it!
I put "save our seas petition" into Google - the link is headed "20 days to save our seas" from avaaz.com. Maybe you can find it that way.
Thanks to Gattina and TT - fingers crossed enough people sign for the the Eurocrats to take notice
